The Climate and Health Foundation and a delegation of US physicians attended COP28, raising awareness of the urgent health risks posed by climate change and reminding policymakers and the public to take action. We are thrilled to share that December 3rd was the first ever Health Day at a COP!

Networking Reception Climate & Health Foundation co-hosted the
Atlantis Hotel, Dubai
On Wednesday December 6th, 2023, CHF was proud to co-host, along with GCHA, GCCHE , CUSOM, and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians, the 2nd Global Climate and Health Networking Reception. The reception united over 600 members of the health community.
The reception featured Dr Maria Neira, Director, Public Health, Environment and Social Determinants of Health Department (PHE) World Health Organisation. Her inspiring presentations provided invaluable perspectives on current challenges in the health community related to climate change. We were honored to help facilitate this important event, and we look forward to continuing to foster collaboration and innovation in the future.

SB58 June 2023, Bonn, Germany
The Climate and Health Foundation and a delegation of US physicians attended SB58, raising awareness of the urgent health risks posed by climate change and reminding policymakers and the public to take action.
Climate & Health Foundation, GCHA & GCCHE co-hosted a Climate and Health networking event on June 7th that was attended by over 100 SB58 attendees interested in the intersection of Health and Climate.

First Global Climate and Health
Networking Reception Climate & Health Foundation co-hosted the
Sultan Gardens Resort, Sharm El Sheikh
On Saturday, November 12th, 2022, CHF was proud to co-host, along with GCHA, GCCHE and CUSOM, a Global Climate and Health Networking Reception at Sultan Garden Resorts in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. The reception united over 300 members of the health community from COP27 to promote collaboration, brainstorm new ideas, and the work of colleagues in other nations.
The reception featured prominent speakers, including Dr Omnia El Omrani, first official Youth Envoy for the COP27 President and Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Maria Neira, Director, Public Health, Environment and Social Determinants of Health Department (PHE) World Health Organisation and Dr Mustafa Santiago Ali, Climate & Environmental Justice Activist. Their presentations provided invaluable perspectives on current challenges in the health community related to climate change. We were honored to help facilitate this important event, and we look forward to continuing to foster collaboration and innovation in the future.
